Lets get real for a minute
There is this funny movement of people being HONEST on social media. Instead of all the perfectly posed pics and “shredded” posts, people are showing their stomachs when they sit down or what their house really looks like during quarantine and I LOVE IT!
It’s easy to post a before and after picture and say, “hey change your diet and you can look like me,” or follow this program, or buy these products and you’ll be fit, pretty, and effortlessly perfect. At face value we KNOW its all bull shit but inside its easy to feel like somethings missing and THIS TIME it’ll be the perfect fix for what ails me.
I spent at least 10 years of my life, if not more, trying all the latest diet crazes or products. I fluctuated from obese to anorexic multiple times too. As a trainer and nutrition coach I should be preaching about how effective my methods are and “these 3 simple steps to weight loss,” but I am going to level with you, losing weight is HARD! If it were easy everyone would be a fit goddess Instagram model.
All bodies are different, everyone’s challenges vary, life gets in the way of our goals. I vow as a fitness and wellness professional to never make this look or feel effortless. I am here to help you achieve your goals both physically and spiritually, but I know its WORK because I too have been there. You’re not alone in this journey.
As I continue to fight for balance in both my personal and professional life, I encourage you to come along on this journey together. Reach out with questions or comments. I know you can achieve your goals and I understand your struggles. Sending my love to all.
